Bathtub Repair

How much do bathtub repairs cost?

While it depends on the size of the damage, most repairs are $299 for chip repairs (small chip), $399 for crack repairs (small crack), and $399 for hole repairs (small hole).

How long before I can use my tub again?

For most repairs, the bathtub can be used the very next day.

Is the repair noticeable?

Most of our bathtub repairs are completely invisible to the eye. Some of our clients have a hard time remembering where the damage was!

Do you use an epoxy?

No — epoxies are good for some applications, but they won't last in the long term. Instead we use a very strong, high-end filler for your bathtub repair. We believe in only using the best available materials to give you the strongest possible repair.

How long will the repair last?

The repair itself is permanent and will last as long as it isn't damaged, while the coating (to blend it in with the rest of the tub) will last an average of 10–15 years.

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

Other than removing any personal items from the bathroom, you can sit back and relax. We do all of the work and cleanup.

What kind of repairs can you do?

We can repair any kind of damage to a bathtub — from chips and cracks to holes and rust damage — in porcelain, fiberglass, acrylic, cultured marble or garden tubs, and claw foot tubs.

I want to make sure you'll be able to repair my bathtub...

We can repair 99% of the damage out there. It's helpful to have a picture for an accurate price — please text or email us a picture of the entire bathtub, the problem area, and your contact information so we can reach you with an accurate price. We first assess the damage and come up with a plan to make sure the repair will be permanent. Chip repairs, for example, require grinding the area to remove any rust or loose porcelain, cleaning the surface with a solvent through several steps, and applying a high-grade filler (no automotive-grade Bondo here). The filler cures fully, then is sanded to match the tub's contours, repeating as needed. We then match our 4K Acrylic Poly-Urethane coating to the rest of the bathtub for a flawless repair. The tub can be used after only 24 hours.

How much do shower repairs cost?

While it depends on the size of the damage, most repairs are $299 for chip repairs (small chip), $399 for crack repairs (small crack), and $399 for hole repairs (small hole).

How long before I can use my shower again?

For most repairs, the shower can be used the very next day.

Do I need to replace a cracked shower pan?

Usually not. We repair the crack, reinforce the pan, and color match the finish, without tearing out the tile around it.

Jetted Tub Repair

Is there a charge for an estimate?

If we can tell from pictures what the problem is, there's never a charge for an estimate. If we need to send a technician to assess or diagnose your jetted tub, there's a trip charge to cover travel time, mileage, and diagnosis time — credited entirely toward the repair as long as it's completed during the same trip.

Do you carry parts for jetted tubs with you?

We carry some common parts on our vehicles, but due to the many different manufacturers and model versions over the years, there's no way we can carry everything with us.

How long do parts orders take?

Most orders ship out from our supplier within the same day and generally take 5–10 business days to arrive. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost.

I don't see any access to my jetted tub. Can you still service it?

It depends on the exact situation, but we can access most tubs. Some are tiled in and we have to cut around the tile to gain access — that charge is usually $99.

Do you repair access holes you have to cut?

No, we're unable to repair drywall or tile. We will replace and seal any access panels that we remove.

How long before I can use my jetted tub again?

With our jetted tub repair service, you'll be able to use your bathtub the very same day (in some rare cases you may have to wait until the next day).

Restoration, Cleaning, and Non-Slip

What is a bathtub restoration?

We deep clean the tub, remove the old caulk, and apply layers of a clear polymer that seals the surface and restores its shine. Then we apply fresh caulk.

What are the advantages of a restoration?

No fumes and zero VOCs, it's a green product, it will never peel, it restores the shine, and it seals the surface of the tub.

What are the disadvantages of a restoration?

Because it's clear, a restoration won't change the color of the tub or cover damage. Chips, cracks, and holes are repaired first.

My jetted tub blows black flakes out of the jets. What is that?

That's biofilm growing inside the jets and pipes, from water that sits in the lines mixing with body oils and dirt. Our jetted tub cleaning flushes the lines and clears it out.

Can you make my tub less slippery?

Yes. We apply a non-slip surface to the floor of the tub or shower. There's nothing to peel up or trap water like stick-on treads.
